Brachycephalic breeds accepted via IPATA-approved pet travel specialist only — additional conditions apply
No pets in cabin (service animals only). Domestic pets travel via Qantas Freight. International transport MUST be arranged through an IPATA-member approved pet transport company. Pets entering Australia must arrive through Melbourne (Tullamarine) only — exception for pets from New Zealand and Norfolk Island. Minimum age 12 weeks. Pets over 12 years need a vet fitness certificate. Extreme weather policy: no transport above 35°C or below 5°C.
